(Non Masonic)
Happily married and the proud Father of two beautiful girls, I / we do not have a lot of free time. However, when we are not busy with our various Masonic groups, we enjoy Civil War reenacting, Fantasy Football, and watching NASCAR as a family.

I joined the Sons of Confederate Veterans in 2004, serving the Army of Trans-Mississippi within the Texas Division as the Division Newsletter Editor 2004-2006. At the local level I have served my Camp as Adjutant, 2nd Lieutenant Commander, Lieutenant Commander, & finally as Commander in 2007. In my "retired" Past Commander state I served the Central Texas Brigade as Color Seargent. I am an active member of the Texas Division's first and only Mounted Color Guard. The TDMCG is one of the first of its kind in the SCV, and is an award winning parade and cemetery dedication unit that at times fielding over 30 flags from the Revolutionary War through the current War in Iraq. I was honored that the TDMCG bestowed the Order of Saint George on me in 2006 for my contributions to the organization above and beyond the call of duty. It was all of these contributions that also earned me a Commendation Medal from the Commander-in-Chief at the National Convention also in 2006.
